Audi Celebrates the 71st Emmys

On Sept. 19, Audi, the official automotive partner of the 71st Emmy Awards, hosted an exclusive event at the Sunset Tower to celebrate outstanding talent in television. Inspired by the brand’s commitment to sustainability, the event featured eco-friendly design elements and products that will be reused or recycled following the event to reduce carbon footprint. Nominated attendees included Milo Ventimiglia (Lead Actor in a Drama Series, “This Is Us”); Brett Gelman (“Fleabag”); Asante Blackk (Supporting Actor in a Limited Series, “When They See Us”); Jean-Marc Vallee (Producer for Outstanding Limited Series, “Sharp Objects”); Marti Noxon (Producer for Outstanding Limited Series, “Sharp Objects”); Glynn Turman (How to Get Away with Murder); and Our Lady J (Pose), as well as guests like Laura Dern and Elizabeth Banks.

Performer’s Nominee Reception for the 71st Emmy Awards

Television actors who use their unique platforms to create positive change and impact in the world were recognized by The Creative Coalition, the premier nonprofit, 501(c)(3) nonpartisan charity at the annual Television Humanitarian Awards. This year, the annual event honored Emmy Award-nominees Patricia Arquette, Henry Winkler and Anthony Carrigan; along with Bethenny Frankel and Terry Crews at a luncheon in Beverly Hills on Saturday afternoon, September 21st. On Friday September 20th, GBK Production’s CEO Gavin Keilly hosted his annual Celebrity Luxury Gifting Lounge ahead of the 2019 EMMY Awards at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. Among the guests were Emmy nominees Rachel Brosnahan, Asante Blackk, Rufus Sewell, Terrence Terrell and Glynn Turman along with stars of nominated shows such as Reid Scott and Matt Walsh (“VEEP”), Our Lady J and Indya Moore (“Pose)”, Dascha Polanco (“Russian Doll”) and Ethan Herisse (“When They See Us”). The Annual Summer Spectacular to benefit the Brent Shapiro Foundation for Drug Prevention brought out Hollywood stars and industry elite to help raise awareness for drug prevention in high risk communities. The evening was hosted by actress, producer and activist Eva Longoria Baston, along with foundation creators Robert, Linell and Grant Shapiro. The Spirit of Sobriety Award was bestowed on actor, producer and writer Will Arnett and was presented by director, Mike Binder. Guests were treated to show stopping musical performances by Sheila E. and Pia Toscano. Other notable guests included It-couple Evan Ross; past recipient of the Spirit of Sobriety Award Harry Hamlin; TV host Nicole Scherzinger;  and “Dancing with the Stars” couple Maks Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd to name a few.

One of television’s biggest nights took place in Century City, CA Saturday, September 21st, where the entertainment industry came together for the 13th annual “Evening Before” party, benefitting MPTF (Motion Picture & Television Fund).  Hollywood’s biggest names came to play post-show, nibbling on bites from Nik & Stef’s, sipping Ferrari Trento sparkling wine (the official sparkling wine of the Emmy’s) and receiving makeup touch-ups from L’Oreal. Those who came to the ball before heading out to celebrate Emmy night included “Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie” winner Jharrel Jerome; Blackish starAnthony Anderson; “Lead Actor in a Drama” winner Billy Porter; Zendaya; Viola Davis; Seth Myers; andThe Righteous Gemstones”‘ Adam Devine. Amazon’s Jeff Bezos even joined the celebration with “Real Housewives of NYC” star Bethenny Frankel.

Amazon Studios toasted to the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards celebrating a record number of seven Emmy wins at the afterparty. The Chateau Marmont welcomed cast and crew to its black-tie soirée with guests including big winner Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Alex Borstein, Tony Shalhoub, Ben Whishaw, Brett Gelman, Heidi Klum, Hugh Grant, Jon Hamm, Rachel Brosnahan, Kevin Pollak, Lena Waithe, Marin Hinkle, Michael Zegen, Sian Clifford, Tony Shalhoub, Beau Bridges, Chace Crawford, Jack Quaid, James Corden, Jane Lynch, Jill Soloway, Stephen Colbert, Sophie Turner, Isaac Wright, and more. Chef Rhoda Magbitang wowed guests as they enjoyed some of the night’s favorite dishes including roasted salmon summer succotash with fennel cream, black truffle arancini parmesan and Calabrian chili aioli, along with mini grilled cheese filled with fromage, prairie breeze cheddar, gruyere, caramelized onions. Attendees danced the night away to DJ Dev Lucien, with Mia Moretti and Morgo on violin.
