Programs like the back-to-school distributions in October and the medical mission trips in December are funded by the financial support raised at this event. These mission trips have provided dental care services and surgery to more than 400 children in one trip. “I was glad to have taken part in this mission trip and to see the smiles on the children’s faces, most of whom had never before seen a dentist,” explains Dr. Julio E. Hernandez of Miami Cosmetic Dentistry, one of the doctors who took part in the Dental Care Mission trip last December. As the primary fundraiser hosted by Angels for Humanity for the year, Catwalk for Charity was able to bring relief to more than 5,000 underprivileged children in Haiti.
