In recent years, Los Angeles’ culinary scene has been on the rise, and Michelin has taken notice. On Tuesday night during an ocean-front celebration in Huntington Beach, six L.A. eateries were awarded two stars and 18 others one star in the MICHELIN Guide California 2019, as well as a smattering of additional SoCal spots.  Southern California as a whole, however, was shut out of the three star category; those spots were filled by San Francisco and Napa Valley staples like The French Laundry and The Restaurant at Meadowood.
