The historic opening of in NYC has brought in with it a plethora of award-winning dining destinations from globally-renowned names, drawing in the masses to the stunning property. Opening its second NYC restaurant location, UK restaurateur D&D London has debuted queensyard at the project located on the fourth floor, bringing a taste of London to Manhattan’s West Side. Boasting an innovative English menu, creative libations and unparalleled views of the city and the project’s emblematic Thomas Hetherwick Vessel, queensyard serves as the perfect location to enjoy the best of London’s cuisine and culture—particularly with its decadent menu and special offerings including Afternoon Tea.

Upon entering the bustling restaurant, guests are greeted by a stunning interior design, curated by CentraRuddy, which pays homage to its origins as a rail yard. The space boasts natural light with floor-to-ceiling windows, a vibrant and sophisticated color scheme, plush seating and gorgeous greenery that transports diners to an upscale English home mixed with the feel of a classic New York penthouse. An impressive collection of artwork lines the walls, including pieces from Warhol and Basquiat.

Guests can indulge in authentic British dishes that feature an American flair, including seafood specialties like the Dover Sole or Main Scallop Crudo with truffle mustard; decadent meat dishes like the Aged Creekstone Beef Tartare with pickled wild mushroom; the Berkshire Pork Chop; or the rose-shaped Chicken Liver & foie gras Parfait in the main dining room. The kitchen also offers a splurge-worthy menu of mouth-watering, casual British fare, ranging from a Dry Aged Burger to Fish & Chips, Fried Chicken & Waffles and more. Additionally, queensyard offers a café area for even more casual dining or on-the-go orders, featuring coffees, pastries, salads and sandwiches throughout the day. At night, it transforms into a chic wine bar offering a beautiful wine list and bottled cocktails—which will soon be available for takeaway.

The cocktails are also meant to be explored, and the menu features a special selection of fashion-themed cocktails, drawing inspiration from world-famous fashion icons including Tom Ford, Van Cleef and Yves Saint Laurent. As to be expected, the cocktails themselves are a work of art and both their appearance and ingredients are created to masterfully portray the namesake fashion icon it’s inspired by, concocted by head bartender Jeremy Le Blanche.

And bringing a taste of English culture to NYC, queensyard offers unique programming of English Afternoon Tea, taking place daily from 3-5 p.m. For $55/person, diners can enjoy beautiful platters of sweet and savory pastries and tea sandwiches that pair beautifully with a classic cup of English tea.
