Chefs Club Hosts Nine Michelin Chefs In Special Dinner Series
Chefs Club’s newest resident, or should we say, residents, include an all-star cast of chefs from the Michelin Guide San Francisco and Bay Area selection. This once-in-a-lifetime series collaboration brings the best of Californian cuisine to the streets of New York City. Nine Michelin-starred chefs are not only sharing their passion for Northern California but also demonstrating how a region’s ingredients can be a common thread for chefs from different origins and cultural influences.
Each week, chefs will highlight his or her own voice and interpretation of ingredients, along with a broad range of techniques to collectively present a six-course tasting menu with wine pairings, and an additional caviar tasting. In addition to the food, the 4×4 dinner series presents a theatrical essence, with commentary at the start of dinner and throughout, creating a convivial atmosphere. Seatings start at 8 p.m. and cost around $295/person and $75/person extra for the special caviar experience with champagne.
During Week Two of the dinner series, Chefs Carrie and Rupert Blease (1 Michelin star) of Lord Stanley and Brandon Jew (1 Michelin star) of Mister Jiu’s, and chef Erik Anderson (2 Michelin stars) of Coi will serve a six-course menu. Dishes include geoduck clam, roasted squab and king crab rangoon.
Week three will be helmed by the Blease chefs, Val Cantu (1 Michelin star) of Californios, and Kyle Connaughton (3 Michelin stars) of SingleThread. The final week of the dinner series will include dishes from Chefs Carrie and Rupert Blease, and a selection of chefs who are to be revealed at a later date.
