Bagatelle Miami Hosts Final Artist In Residence Event

French bistro and South Beach staple, Bagatelle, hosted its final night of “Artist in Residence.” The event, curated by Marcel Katz a.k.a The Art Plug, featured emerging artist Tiago Magro who reimagined Bagatelle’s most coveted beverage menu item, Dom Pérignon, into 10 limited-edition works of art. The Tiago-designed bottles were available for purchase with proceeds benefiting The Irie Foundation, while the evening—organized by Bagatelle’s Director of Development Eric Mastantuono—also served as his birthday party, bringing out the who’s who of Miami.

Using varied materials, local Miami artist Tiago Magro captivated the crowd by creating works of art incorporating newspapers, spray paint and his signature heart symbol conveying an inundated love and passion for life. Magro’s art has a strong influence in urban environments while exuding a nostalgic ’80s and ’90s influence. The live painting and custom Dom Pérignon bottles were available for purchase with proceeds benefiting, DJ Irie’s The Irie Foundation which aims to create a positive impact and improve the lives of at-risk youth.

Guests were entertained with eclectic music, delectable dishes and tons of photo opportunities. Handcrafted cocktails and carefully curated dishes from Bagatelle’s renowned menu included Gnocchi Truffés à la Parisienne, Poulet Rôti Entier à la Truffe, an assortment of desserts and more.

Notable guest included Bagatelle’s Director of Development Eric Mastantuono, David Saada, Ariel Mullen and more attended the final artistic event.
