Between giving birth to her third child and opening up multiple locations of her barbecue restaurant, International Smoke, Ayesha Curry is one busy woman. The latest item she’s adding to her resume? Boutique owner. Last Friday Curry, who is the wife to basketball star Stephen Curry, opened her first-ever retail store, Homemade.

Located in Oakland’s Jack London Square, Homemade is a pop-up that features a variety of products for the home including bedding, cookware, kitchen textiles, and more. Curry is also debuting two new collections, one of jewelry and another of clothing. “To be able to have all of my products for the home all in one place makes me so excited,” Curry said in an email. “I think that it really makes a difference when people can touch, feel, and experience the product firsthand before they purchase it.”

She worked with Bay Area-based Cost Plus World Market to design the pop-up which is open Wednesday through Fridays, from 4 to 7 p.m. and weekends 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. World Market designed Curry’s new office space which is also in Oakland. To celebrate the store, Curry is hosting a book signing and meet and greet this Sunday, February 11 at 11 a.m.

Homemade is only around through February, so make sure to check out the shop soon. No word yet where she’ll pop-up after Oakland, but for now Curry is happy to help stimulate the local economy. “I am so excited to be bringing my first Homemade storefront to the Oakland community,” she says. “I think it’s so great that we’re rebuilding Oakland businesses, and I’m so happy to be a part of the moment—especially as a woman in business.”
