Tucked inside the Mandarin Oriental Boston, Bar Boulud will be offering a bountiful buffet brunch featuring New England-inspired dishes and French bistro favorites. The buffet at this Back Bay haute spot will be served up from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will feature everything from seasonal salads and signature charcuterie to roasted ribeye and herb-crusted halibut with spring veggies. The view from high atop the 52nd floor of the Prudential Center doesn’t get any better than the expansive one found at the Top of the Hub. Two prix-fixe menus will be served up here on Mother’s Day, including a four-course brunch (think lobster omelets and grilled hanger steaks) from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. followed by a four-course dinner from 3 to 8 p.m. featuring poached halibut and grilled rack of lamb. The adjacent lounge will be offering live entertainment Mother’s Day from 5 to 9 p.m., and guests receive complimentary access to the Skywalk Observatory on the 50th floor.

The waterfront hotel is opening up its Atlantic Room on Mother’s Day for their extraordinary brunch featuring everything from New England steamed lobster and mustard rubbed roast beef tenderloin to pan seared pot stickers and caramelized diver sea scallops in pink grapefruit sauce. You can be one of the first to try Mastro’s Ocean Club brunch as they preview their inaugural menu this Mother’s Day. Continuing every Sunday after Mother’s Day from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., the haute new menu here will feature steakhouse favorites like New York strip steak and eggs and a prime burger as well as classics like Maine lobster Benedict and smoked salmon on a bagel.
