Johnnie Walker is joining the women’s rights movement by launching—for the first time in its nearly 200-year history—a female iteration of the brand’s iconic Striding Man logo, dubbed “Jane Walker.”

The new Jane Walker logo—a gal emblazoned in black on the box and gold on the bottle wearing knee-high riding boots, a cropped riding jacket and top hat —is a celebration of the many achievements of women and a symbol of empowerment for everyone on the journey towards gender equality.

Jane and her whiskey are being released by parent company Diageo in March, to coincide with Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day on March 8th. For every bottle produced, Johnnie Walker will be donating $1 to support organizations championing women’s causes, with a total donation up to $250,000, as part of the #WalkWithJane program.

One of the non-profit organizations Johnnie Walker will be supporting as part of #WalkWithJane is Monumental Women, an effort launched by the Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony Statue Fund, to create a monument in NYC’s Central Park that pays tribute to suffrage leaders Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B Anthony and the suffragette movement overall. To date, there are no statues of historical female figures in Central Park. Johnnie Walker will be also be making a donation of $150,000 to the historical initiative that is the Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony Statue Fund.

Around 250,000 bottles of Jane Walker will be available in the US only; The Jane Walker Edition will be available for around $34 for a 750ml bottle of the brand’s blended 12-year whiskey.
