The Best Looks From The Grammys Last Night
After all the glitz, glam, and giving performances at last night’s Grammy Awards, the styling of celebs did not disappoint. With the awards back in New York after 15 years in Los Angeles, those down the red carpet and around the after party came decked out in the hottest fashions. From white suits and dresses in support of TimesUp, to nuanced patterns and textures, it was a great night to lead into the upcoming New York Fashion Week. Here are some of our favorite looks from the evening.
John Legend sported a classic look at the Clive Davis and Recording Academy Pre-Grammy Gala. Featuring just enough flop in his bowtie to show a flare of fashion-forward thinking.
Childish Gambino (AKA Donald Glover) wore an all white tuxedo, matching the support of the #MeToo and TimesUp movements that had a heavy influence in the awards. Glover was nominated for six Grammys last night.
2017 was the year of Cardi B, that’s for sure. The pop singer had a chart-topping hit, and dazzled on the red carpet in a gown that drew in as many eyes as Bodak Yellow did listeners.
Hailee Steinfeld rocked the red carpet in a white dress that featured a huge accent with glossy, ultra violet boots. Pantone’s color of the year is going a long way for this look.
Jay-Z and Beyonce came in full-fashion to their rightful thrones as king and queen.
Between the stunning waves of her dress and the dashing double breasted cut of the tuxedo, it’s no surprise the duo elicited responses like this…
Zedd also followed in the year’s biggest color trend, wearing an Ermenegildo Zegna Couture suit in all ultra violet.
Jon Batiste, the band leader for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, took the road less traveled with a patterned suit featuring a gold inlay.
