Beyonce And Donald Glover Confirmed: The Lion King

It’s true! Beyonce and Donald Glover have both been confirmed to star in the live-action adaptation film of the 1994 The Lion King come summer 2019. And, there’s more exciting cast members on the roster.
“It is a director’s dream to assemble a talented team like this to bring this classic story to life,” said Jon Favreau in a statement released by Disney Live Action.
Amongst Beyonce and Glover, Seth Rogen, the legendary James Earl Jones, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Alfre Woodard are also on the mega cast list including the hilarious Billy Eichner, Keeygan-Michael Key, and Eric Andre.
This seriously impressive roster of actors and actresses is sure to deliver what will probably be the best live-action adaptation of The Lion King.
Pretty sure I can clear my schedule to be an extra as a meerkat–page me just in case I’m needed.
