Throw in The Sweatbar, a new pop-up that recently opened on Union in between Octavia and Gough Streets, and the area has all of your luxury athleisure wishes granted. The Sweatbar has a huge selection of leggings, sports bras, tanks, and tops from chic and difficult-to-find brands like Varley, Michi, Koral, and Vimmia.
The Sweatbar was created by Cheryl Baxter as an ecommerce destination in 2015. Baxter, a local mom, was tired of wearing the same old boring black leggings as everyone else. She saw a real need in the market for a single place to shop for stylish and unique activewear. Thus, she launched the digital boutique. Now she’s bringing her carefully curated selection of separates, which includes sexy swimsuits, to life with the pop-up. “Athleisure is a major trend, especially in this city and I’m excited for shoppers to experience the wide range of pieces available at The Sweatbar!” Baxter said in a statement.
From now until the end of January, shop for a variety of clothing perfect for yoga, cycling, tennis, surfing, barre, dance, and more.
