Casa Tua Cucina Opens In Saks Brickell City Centre
The highly-anticipated, second Miami location of famed restaurant Casa Tua has opened in Miami’s new upscale shopping destination—the Brickell City Centre. However, this location is special to the Casa Tua family as it marks both the city and the brand’s first Italian kitchen and marketplace/winebar. Fittingly, Casa Tua Cucina is anchored to the beautiful multi-story Saks Fifth Avenue along South Miami Ave.

The inspiration behind the space pays homage to the quintessential name of the brand itself—the home. More specifically, the heart of the home, which is the kitchen.
“The kitchen is the heart of a house, it’s where family comes together,” says Casa Tua Founder Miky Grendene. “We believe sharing good, ethically sourced food is one of the highest expressions of love. We have selected a group of passionate chefs from around the world to help us source the best artisans and small producers who pour their hearts into their work. Saks is the perfect destination to expand our presence in alliance with their understanding of luxury.”

The beautiful 18,000-square-foot dining destination is filled with gourmet food, beverage and curated retail items with 300 seats, a full bar and 10 dining stations serving pasta, pizza, salad, meats, sweets and even a flower market.

Grendene successfully executed the extravagant transformation of the bottom floor of Saks Brickell City Centre using his veteran expertise in the business. He brought in A-list culinary names to the team and ensured every detail was taken into account to make the space truly special—from inventive mixologists, to expert crudo bar chefs, butchers, pastry chefs and fresh-pressed juicers, Casa Tua Cucina offers not only the finest ingredients around to create impeccable Italian cuisine, but also unbeatable service.

“We are so proud of the success of this fantastic space. It’s the financial result of doing something with love and heart all the way,” Grendene said.
