Haute Living took to the posh Scarpetta Beach restaurant, located within Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa to celebrate its latest New York issue, where iconic supermodel and Hamptons socialite Christie Brinkley graced its cover. The Sunday evening sunset set the perfect backdrop for the intimate dinner, which took place on the deck of the restaurant with breathtaking views of the oceanfront.

Brinkley looked stunning as usual, arriving to the evening in a white beach-chic dress with her daughter Sailor Brinkley Cook in attendance to join in on the celebrations for her mother. Guests were greeted with glasses of Bellisima prosecco, Brinkley’s new venture in the spirits world.

In her cover story, Brinkley talks about how she’s striving to use her luxury brand to demolish stereotypes on age and beauty. She recalls, after reading posts online about how being in your 50s and 60s was more like an affliction, “That’s when I decided to go online and actually be me—a woman of my age with interests, feelings, and a life; someone chasing dreams, making dreams happen just like everybody else. I also tried to raise awareness that the Internet can be whatever we make of it, so let’s make it a tool to support each other and lift each other up, rather than be some dark, horrible place.” Brinkley is living proof that this is true—age is simply a number, not who you are.

Guests sat down for dinner and enjoyed a wonderfully curated meal by Scarpetta Beach, highlighting the best of its signature dishes like the Tuna Susci, Raw Yellowtail, Burrata and Creamy Polenta to start; the ever-famous tomato & basil Spaghetti for the second course, as well as the Short Rib & Bone Marrow Agnolotti and Zucchini Mezzaluna; Halibut, Roasted Organic Chicken and the Filet Mignon as mains; and the Coconut Panna Cotta, Warm Banana Bread and Chocolate Cake for dessert.
