Every Hollywood starlet walking down the red carpet seemingly has a flawless mane, and the key word here is ‘seemingly.’ They have discovered the secret to flawless Hollywood hair, and that would be a variety of different smoothing treatments for manageable, silky, shiny manes. Here, we weight in on five of the best treatments on the market for a never-ending good hair day.
THE TREATMENT: Goldwell Kerasilk Control Treatment

THE TREATMENT: Keratin Complex Glycolic Smoothing System

WHAT TO EXPECT: This isn’t a short process, but it’s worth it. Make sure you leave yourself 3-4 hours in the salon for the treatment to be applied, reapplied and styled.
WHO SHOULD GET IT: Anyone! The coolest thing about this three-part treatment is that it provides a smoothing solution for every hair type. You have the option of having it curled or straighten, which will set the tone for what your hair will look like moving forward. Even better, you’ll receive all the benefit of same-day styling, immediate rinse-out, and superior results on highly textured hair. It also softly blends the line of demarcation on previously relaxed or chemically straightened hair. However, be aware that, like a glycolic skin treatment, the very ends of your hair will slough off—it will effectively get rid of your deadest ends—to prepare to get a cut immediately afterward.

WHAT IT DOES: Matrix’s Opti Smooth System is enhanced with a unique interim treatment that contains a patented ceramide molecule, which helps protect, fortify, and condition the relaxed hair during the service to create soft, shiny, well-conditioned results.
WHAT TO EXPECT: Like most hair treatments, you’ll be in the salon chair for a number of hours. Unlike some of the latest treatments, however, this system requires that you not get your hair wet for 72 hours. Sorry gals, that means no gym time!
WHO SHOULD GET IT: There are five levels of treatment here, so this system is good for the gal who wants to smooth her curls, someone with damaged hair, or the gal that wants to completely straighten her mane. Regardless of which treatment you, get, expect great definition and supremely smooth hair.

THE TREATMENT: GKHAIR”The Best”
WHAT IT DOES: “The Best” reduces the stiffness (elastic modulus) in the hair, this reduction or softening effect causes the hair to lose its natural curl and feel softer. The greater the concentration along with application of Juvexin, the softer or straighter the hair will become. Juvexin penetrates throughout the hair shaft delivering important conditioning and moisturizing benefits. This improves the softness and reduces friction enabling the hair to better withstand heat, helps make hair less prone to breakage and improves the lubricity of hair giving hair overall better manageability. On both wet and dry hair there is less entanglement during brushing, making the hair less prone to breakage and improving manageability.
WHAT TO EXPECT: Of all the treatments, this is the longest you’ll spend in the chair, and you’ll need to make sure you find a qualified therapist who knows exactly what he or she is doing for the best result. It’s a painstaking process, but worth it if you’re patient.

THE TREATMENT: Lasio One-Day Keratin Treatment
WHAT IT DOES: The Lasio treatment smooths, straightens and gives you all-around more manageable hair.
WHAT TO EXPECT: The Lasio smoothing treatment is just one of the hair treatments available at Benjamin with Negin Zand (they also have a a Luxurious Treatment Menu for less invasive treatments). This is actually one of the quicker keratin processes—just under two hours—where you’ll be washed, dried, straightened and sent on your way. You’ll be unable to wash your hair for 24 hours, but in the grand scheme of things, it’s not really a trial given that many keratin treatments still ask you to wait for 72 hours. Immediately after washing, your hair will be perfect. No joke. Your drying time (even when you have a lot of hair ) should take five minutes, and you’ll have the silky, smooth mane you always wished for. You will NOT need a cut afterwards. To note: this product does contain traces formaldehyde and may sting your eyes upon application.
WHO SHOULD GET IT: Those who are looking for perfect hair. So, OK, everyone.
