Haute Living Celebrates Kygo Cover Launch with Avion Reserva 44 and Hublot

Haute Living honored cover star and EDM music sensation Kygo with a private dinner party at David Grutman’s new haute spot, Komodo. Avión Reserva 44 and Hublot helped put on the affair, presenting Kygo with a special Aero Bang Carbon 44 Hublot timepiece and a custom Avión Reserva 44 Bottle personalized with Kygo’s face.

In the midst of his busy WMC schedule and appearances, Kygo and his closest family and friends joined dinner to celebrate his cover launch for Haute Living. The crew enjoyed specialty Avión Reserva 44 cocktails and inventive bites from Komodo’s skilled culinary team.

During dessert, David Grutman and the Komodo team debuted the “Cloud 9” dessert, a delectable chocolate concoction in honor of his highly anticipated and soon-to-be released album–and also specially created for Kygo’s chocolate sweet tooth. “I called it Cloud 9 because that’s the place I want to take people when they are listening to my music, it’s also where I am when I make music,” explains Kygo.

To congratulate him on his cover release and upcoming album, Hublot presented the Big Bang Aero Bang Carbon 44 to Kygo, one of their most desired timepieces boasting sapphire, anti-reflective treatments, a mat black skeleton dial, and satin-finished rhuthenium-plated appliques and hands with white luminescent.

Hublot showcased a handful of other prized pieces throughout the night, including the Limited Edition Big Bang Unico 45mm Italia Independent Grey, the “Dia de Los Muertos”-inspired 41mm Big Bang Sugar Skull Collection in Rose Gold, and the 45mm Classic Fusion Chronograph in Titanium. For the more fashion-forward consumers, Hublot also showcased their 41mm Pop Art Pink timepiece in Rose Gold.

The humble music star enjoyed the night with his girlfriend and family, trying to get in some relaxation before his big performance at Ultra this weekend where he will be playing the main stage. “Ultra is one of the top EDM festivals, from the start of making music I wanted to go just to be in the audience, it’s amazing a few short years later to be appearing [on the main stage].”
