NBA star Dwyane Wade continues to team up with athletic sporting giant LI-NING for the launch of their Way of Wade 4 (WOW4) sneaker collection. This season’s collection will feature three new original styles: Liberty, Lucky 13, and the 25th-anniversary sneaker which will launch on October 23, 2015. Between October 2015 to July 2016, the four-year collaboration plans to release an additional 15 styles to the line.
The creative partnership, dating back to 2012, consists of a combination of Wade’s personal style, his dedication to self-promotion, and the benefits of LI-NING’s top-quality shoes with enhanced performance. WOW4 is expected to inspire the future of athletics and will rightfully do so as Wade will debut the Lucky 13 sneaker at this season’s opening game.
The Way of Wade 4 series puts a strong emphasis on lightweight basketball sneakers that enhance performance in terms of playability. The line is manufactured using layered mesh and an internal strap system to ensure a feather-like feel. For added comfort, an internal full-length bootie/sock was installed to guarantee the perfect fit. Additional changes to the sneakers include a newly designed sole which is now an aggressively molded 3-D, top-graded carbon fiber shank that defines resilience and durability, but at the same time is still light-weight. The exterior design incorporates triangulated fractal patterns that mirror the folded lines in Chinese origami. It is a very trendy look at the moment.
Wade expresses his enthusiasm for the new launch stating, ““I am excited to share my new Way of Wade collection with my fans, which features unique details and color ways,” says Wade. “I am looking forward to kicking off my thirteenth NBA season wearing the Lucky 13 sneakers and sporting the rest of the collection throughout the season.”

The launch will begin on October 23, 2015 with the Liberty, the highest tech sneaker in the series, followed by the Lucky 13 on October 28,2015, which is specifically tailored around Dwyane Wade’s 3 championship wins and 13th season in the NBA.
