The Little Lighthouse Foundation hosted their 6th annual Hearts & Stars Gala at Roy and Lea Black’s stunning waterfront home on Star Island on Saturday, March 14th. The elite event featured billionaires, professional athletes, celebrities, and Miami socialites among these were Jill Martin, Jonathan Cheban, Gabrielle Anwar, Lawrence Timmons, and Shareed Malnik, the recepient of the Credit Suisse Shining Light award.

The invite-only event, which was sold out for the 5th year in a row was a huge success with all the proceeds going towards LLF’s mission to aid South Florida children and their families that struggle with financial, educational, and medical hardships.

It was an action-packed night with a live performance by Drums of The Sun, Tita Italia sparkling wine on the award winning VanDutch yachts, the first ever #MyHublot watch experience, SLS LUX casino game tables with all proceeds going to LLF, and two raffle prize baskets gifting over $60,000 in value. Warren Henry Automotive even featured the brand new Range Rover Discovery, never before seen publicly.

Guests enjoyed a top shelf open bar all night provided by Diageo, featuring Kettle One, Johnnie Walker, Don Julio, and Zacapa Rum as well as Dos Equis, Tita Italia sparkling wine and FIJI Water. There were exquisite light h’ordeurves prepared by Siena Tavern, Midtown Oyster Bar, Rosa Mexicano, Il Mulino, and more.

The Keener Foundation for Giving gave a pledge to match donations dollar for dollar up to $50,000, which was fulfilled within 5 minutes. This was the highlight of the night. Pledges continued to pour in throughout the night totaling over $150,000. Little Lighthouse Foundation board members Aaron Resnick, Robert Sena, and Charlie Venturi joined pledge donators and other guests on stage to share their gratitude and appreciation for those who helped support the donation program.
