Haute Living magazine and Shayne Cohen hosted a luncheon at her chic Bal Harbour boutique, Oxygene for Amedeo, the irreverent cameo line. Designer Amedeo Scognamiglio was there to explain the line and its heritage while showing off a custom cameo ring featuring his French Bulldog. Gals that included Amaris Jones, Karla Daskal and Irina Trukhacheva inspected the merchandise and enjoyed a three course lunch catered by Makoto with vino by Sterling.

Although the line was launched with partner Roberto Faraone Mennella in 2006, Scognamiglio a family history of cameo-making in Italy that goes back to the nineteenth century so there were cameos floating around when the two launched their jewelery line, FARAONE MENNELLA. It could be said that Sarah Jessica Parker got one in 2001 and the rest is history. Now the cameos – which feature anything but classical carvings – can be found in the most fashion-forward boutiques across the globe, such as Oxygene.
