Lebanese Designer Reem Acra to Launch Her First Fragrance this Fall

Renowned for her ready-to-wear and bridal collection, Lebanese designer Reem Acra has forayed into beauty with the launch of her first-ever fragrance.

Much like her design philosophy, Acra’s fragrance reflects her appreciation for traditional classics coupled with modern luxury and sophistication. “When designing, I always strive to make women look and feel beautiful,” says the designer. “Perfume is a more intimate, yet subtle, way of achieving that; a fragrance can create a mood, inspire confidence and, in an instant, transform the way a woman looks and feels. It is truly magical.”

The perfume is inspired by Acra’s memories of collecting amber as a child in the forests of Lebanon. Perfumer Pierre Negrin of Firmenich has thus created a sleek sheer amber effect that resonates throughout the fragrance and has balanced it with  notes of fruit, flowers and sensual musk.

Developed in collaboration with TPR Holdings LLC., Reem Acra Eau de Parfum will debut this fall.
