New Year’s Eve at Buddha-Bar London

News | December 26, 2012

Fact: New Year’s Eve expectations almost always outweigh the outcome. So how do you bypass the disappointment and guarantee a sparkling conclusion to 2012? We’d recommend a luscious champagne-fueled, five-course dinner followed by dancing with your favorite party people at the recently opened Buddha-Bar in London.

The original Buddha Bar was created by Raymond Visan in Paris circa 1996, and Buddha-Bar (closely linked to the first, hence the hyphen) opened for the second time in London back in November. Like the original, the Knightsbridge location is filled with Chinese and Japanese art objects, Khmer statues, lush gold and red décor and Portuguese mosaics creating the sensual, international coziness that we have come to know and love.

On the big night guests will enjoy classic Buddha-Bar Asian infused cocktails, Veuve Clicquot Champagne, canapés, a five-course menu, teas and coffee and a celebratory glass of champagne and mochi as the clock strikes midnight. Throughout the night celebrated saxophonist Ben Hadwen will entertain guests while DJ Omar will take to the decks guaranteeing there is never a lacklustre moment.

So if it is a sophisticated night filled with amazing food and fantastic music that you are looking for, this is just the ticket.

Tickets are £175 per person (roughly $280)
