Singapore Hosts John Travolta to Announce Breitling’s New Navitimer Blue Sky
Actor and 747 pilot John Travolta flew into Singapore yesterday to kick off his endorsement of Breitling’s 60th anniversary edition of its iconic Navitimer line, the Blue Sky.
- Travolta is in good company in choosing Breitling as his official timepiece; in 1961, Apollo astronaut Scott Carpenter commissioned a 24-hour version of the Navitimer from Breitling, saying it would make time-telling easier in an environment where the distinction between morning and afternoon is arbitrary.
