Uli Weber

For the last 20 years it’s hard not to be aware of the work from celebrity portrait and fashion photographer Uli Weber. Chances are you’ll recognize the naked Daniel Radcliffe in the publicity stills for his West End debut in Equus, Boy George in the guise of The Red Devil for the cover of his autobiography, Take it Like a Man, Twiggy in the award-winning Marks & Spencer advertising campaign or Denise Van Outen, one of the stars of Uli’s gritty, provocative posters for Chicago. From the bedroom walls of teenagers to the halls of The Victoria and Albert Museum, Uli Weber is one of the most accessible and accomplished photographers of his generation. After studying photography in Rome, Uli moved to London to concentrate on fashion photography and portraiture and quickly built up a wide client base in London, Milan, Paris and New York. Today his work can be seen in London, Europe, and New York. He has recently been selected as one of the Hasselblad Masters and has won numerous AOP and Communication Arts Awards His work has been featured in Vogue, Marie Claire, Elle, Conde Nast Traveller, and the Sunday Times Style Magazine as well as on campaigns such as America’s Next Top Model, Dunhill, and Rolex.
