This past weekend we were invited to one of the Hautest brunches to kick off the summer. The Collection, known as one of Miami’s foremost luxury automotive dealership, teamed up with 2 time NBA Champion Dwyane Wade, Gabrielle Union, as well as Tracy and Alonzo Mourning to host the unveiling of the new 2013 Porsche Boxster.
As momentum built for the long awaited glimpse of the newest addition to the Porsche line, guests mingled and sampled some of the best local restaurants like Steven Hass’ City Hall who brings a new meaning to the word comfort food and puts out his “Sunday Best” with a Gospel brunch on Sundays featuring performances by Maryel Epps. The Biltmore hotel also sampled some of their best known brunch dishes that have made them the cornerstone of brunch in Miami. We were also treated to treats from Zuma in Downtown and Yardbird on South Beach but Moet Imperial Ice was the nuance by being the only champagne formulated to be served with ice.
As CEO Ken Gorin welcomed everyone and introduced our local heroes too all, he shared a clip of some of this seasons highlights from the Miami Heat and reminded us how privileged we are to be a part of it all. It was an incredible and joyous moment as Dwyane Wade also thanked all those present for their support and encouragement both at the games and from home. He was also happy to be a part of the unveiling as he sat in the new 2013 Porsche Boxster.
Starting at $49,000 Porsche has redesigned the Boxster to define how the roadster of the future should look and perform. The Boxster boasts a 0 to 60 acceleration time of 4.8 seconds with a 15 percent improvement in fuel economy. The new more aggressive and exotic, styling of the Boxster provides unparalleled roadster comfort and stability wile sacrificing none of its driving magic.
