Juicing is a healthy (and hot) trend right now and local shops are making it easy for amateurs to get in on the action.
The juicer that launched them all, Pressed Juicery, recently opened in West Hollywood, expanding their empire from their Brentwood store and truck in the Malibu Country Mart. (Juices range from $6.50-8).
Earth Bar, also in West Hollywood and in various Equinox gyms throughout LA, is now bottling their cold pressed juices as well so there’s no need to stand in their long line, unless you want to hang behind frequent customers like Lake Bell, Jaime King and Mena Suvari. (Juices cost $7.95.)
Westsiders aren’t left out of the juicing solar system with new-ish Moon Juice in Venice. Their juices are more hardcore, with less ingredients like apples to make the juices more palatable for the virgin juicer…so, start slow. (Juices cost $9-12.)
Now it’s easy to get a juicy glow…without the commitment of buying three pounds of vegetables and scrubbing a multi-piece juicer!
