Celebratory Evening for Officine Panerai’s First Asian Flagship Store Opening

The opening of Officine Panerai’s first Asian flagship store at ION Orchard in Singapore last month was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 12. The commemorative evening was co-hosted by Panerai, Chief Executive Officer of ION Orchard Soon Su Lin and Deputy Head of Mission from the Embassy of Italy Andrea de Felip.

Following a tour of the store, the largest Panerai boutique in the world, guests were ushered to the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) to view a showcase of the company’s history, as well as a selection of its timepieces from SIHH 2012. To end the exciting night, guests were offered culinary treats by renowned Chef Andre Chiang and serenaded by Singapore’s premier classical string ensemble, the T’ang Quartet.

Managing director of Officine Panerai Jean-Sebastien Gerondeau said this new ION flagship store in Singapore will play an extremely important role in the brand’s retail expansion.
