Marina Monroe’s Top 5 Looks From The 2012 Grammy Awards

Taylor Swift always looks amazing on the red carpet, but for the Grammys this year she finally decided to try something a little different than her usual champagne-colored, sparkly gown. This gold cutout Zuhair Murad looked absolutely stunning on the singer, who decided on a simple updo and no jewelry to perfectly showcase the dress. Definitely at the top of our best dressed list!

Rihanna proved that sometimes a simple black dress can outshine even the most intricate of designs! The singer looked flawless in this backless Giorgio Armani with a high slit and a plunging neckline, and she accessorized with gold accessories that complimented her new blonde hairstyle. This is a perfect example of how to pick a dress that you wear- rather than a dress that wears you!

Paris Hilton showed up at the Grammys looking like a Grecian goddess in this white Basil Soda gown. The heiress looked super sophisticated with her hair in a low bun and few accessories- all this dress needed to shine were simple diamond studs, a gold belt and a diamond cocktail ring!

Katy Perry looked demure in this ice blue Elie Saab couture gown, and we are absolutely dying over the train. We love how the singer stayed true to her wild personal style and edged up the look with a blue updo. The dress’ intricate beading made it so that going overboard with accessories was not necessary, so these dangling diamond earrings, delicate bracelet, and single diamond ring were the perfect choice!

Kelly Osbourne looked gorgeous in this sparking Tony Ward gown. Like Katy, the TV personality got in on the colored-hair trend and chose a dress that complimented her lavender locks, and she pulls it off flawlessly as well! We’re loving the way her gown perfectly flattered her hourglass figure with its cinched waist- this is definitely the most important thing to consider when dresssing for an event!
