Turtle Island Resort, Fiji – The Ultimate in Intimate Vacations

Turtle Island’s beauty makes it an ideal locale for special celebrations like weddings and honeymoons.

Turtle Island Resort is a dream-like refuge of beaches, privacy and luxurious comfort. This all-inclusive, private island resort is made up of fourteen beaches and therefore only caters to 14 couples at a time. Each pair resides in a 1,200 square foot “bure,” an intimate two-room villa separated from all other bures by stretches of glistening sand.
“[There are] no villages, no other resorts. The fact that there are so few people on such a large island makes such a difference because you can explore the island,” said Director of Marketing Dennis Keenan. “It’s your own private paradise to explore.”
Spanning 500 acres, Turtle Island has a plethora of activities to partake in, from horseback riding to mountain biking to exploration. The clear blue water is perfect for scuba diving, swimming, snorkeling, sport fishing and kayaking. And for those looking forward to a vacation of relaxation and rest on the sand, there are 14 beaches to choose from.

Turtle Island Resort is romantic in setting and full of possibilities. Guests can enjoy private dinners by lantern light on a pontoon, gently floating atop the majestic Blue Lagoon, or wake up to a champagne sunrise breakfast. Couples are welcome to reserve one of the fourteen beaches for a lobster-and-champagne picnic, completely peaceful and totally private.
“Most other resorts don’t have a private beach for picnics,” Keenan said. “Nobody else can offer a private lobster and champagne picnic lunch on your own private beach.”
With so much space, culture and so many activities offered, no wonder the resort assigns each couple a “Bure Mama” upon arrival. Your own personal concierge, she helps you plan, teaches you about the culture and takes care of you throughout your stay.
