Döttling’s Multifunctional GrandCircle Safe
Known for its handcrafted safes and vaults containing watch winders and display cabinets, German safe maker Döttling has created its newest luxury safe called “The GrandCircle”.
The GrandCircle is not just a safe but actually includes multiple components for luxury living. GrandCircle features watch winders, a pendulum clock, bar, a cigar humidor and a high-end sound system.
Perfectly designed for an evening get together, the GrandCircle allows you to show off your riches and luxury watches while entertaining. The safe measures in at more than two meters high and is made from the finest materials such as high-gloss lacquered wood varieties, the finest stingray tail skin, Alcantara, and rhodium-plated metal components to make it a functional piece of art. In addition, the all-in-one cabinet includes the world’s smallest hi-fi subwoofer with four amplifiers and connected satellite loudspeaker. The Elac MicroSUB 2010 sound system is controlled via iPhone or iPod.
For those who collect luxury timepieces, the GrandCircle has a total of 52 individually controlled watch winders enclosing it’s center of attraction: a limited, handmade Naeschke pendulum clock with power reserve mechanism that has six ruby bearings. In addition to the hour and minute, it indicates the subsidiary second, date, phase of the mood, and day of the week. It also has an unusual running duration of four weeks after one winding.
Other high-end specifications include jewelry drawers, an air-humidified humidor made of Spanish cedar wood and an exclusively implemented minibar. For reassurance, the safe is fitted with security features and certified fire protection.
The GrandCircle is limited to a single series of 20 hand-numbered and signed objects. Each one costs approximately $265,600.
