Haute 100 Update: Dwyane Wade Designs $27,500 Limited Edition Watch with Hublot
The Miami Heat’s Dwyane Wade is celebrated for his stylishness – both on and off the court – and he has taken it a step further by designing an exclusive watch with high-end watchmaker Hublot. We caught wind a while back that the basketball star was in the works to design a piece, and now it has finally arrived. Dubbed the Hublot King Power “Dwyane Wade edition”, the watch will sell for around $27,500 and is the most luxurious piece of memorabilia out there.

The NBA star took to designing the watch to make it his own. The striking piece is decked out in the Heat red-and-black color scheme with a red chrono-pusher, red outer bezel flange, and matching subdials, which all look stunning against a 48mm bead-blasted black ceramic case. The face features Wade’s jersey number 3 (appropriately at 3 o’clock) and his logo. Texturally, it evokes the markings of a basketball while the precise white stitching on the leather-and-rubber bands recall the pattern of a basketball net.
Although Wade has long been a known lover of all things haute horlogerie – even taking on the role as an ambassador for Hublot – this is his first design collaboration with the illustrious time brand. Wade’s “King Power” watch will only see around 500 pieces produced, so availability is extremely limited. They go on sale soon, so we suggest you keep an eye out if you want to snag one of these super-exclusive pieces.
