Roberto Cavalli and Gloria Estefan Host Charity Event at Villa Vecchia

The Roberto Cavalli 2011 Spring Collection, leaving little to the imagination, will heat up Miami Beach at a charity event and fashion show hosted by Roberto Cavalli and Gloria Estefan at Villa Vecchia on Friday, Nov.19. For Roberto Cavalli’s latest collection, sexified supermodels breezed down the runway in Milan wearing barely there frocks. A revealing mix of rock ‘n’ roll, Boho and glamazon, Cavalli turned out pants, sheer chiffon bias-cut gowns, exotic croc and python jackets, and lots of animal prints, in keeping with Cavalli’s signature look. Laced up, laced down, cutout, fringed or crocheted and sprayed with sequins, beads and crystals, Cavalli turned out a seductive, body-bearing collection for his 40th anniversary.

Once you decide to put down the pumpkin pie (check out Natalia Vodianova pictured below in Roberto Cavalli Spring 2011 Ready-to-Wear Collection) plan on making an appearance at Villa Vecchia where world-renowned fashion designer and icon, Cavalli, together with seven-time Grammy Award-winning artist, Estefan, team up for an elaborate event under the stars. Starting at 7 p.m., celebrities, notables, philanthropists, and socialites will join together for a cocktail party, sit-down dinner, a Roberto Cavalli 2011 Spring Collection runway show, and a surprise artist performance at one of Miami Beach’s premiere residences.

Villa Vecchia, the exquisite estate of Miami philanthropists Norma & Luis Quintero, will play setting to the most spectacular charity event of the season. Net proceeds from the event will benefit both The Gloria Estefan Foundation, supporting charitable programs for disadvantaged children to empower young people through education and opportunity, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Recognized for its pioneering work in finding cures and saving children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is the first and only pediatric cancer center to be designated as a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute.
