Karlos Dansby and Celebrity Servers at Morton’s to Benefit Pros for Africa

Dinner is served. And nothing tastes better than a meal served by the Miami Dolphins. With the regular season looking up for the Dolphins, linebacker Karlos Dansby has a lot on his plate, including dishing out dinner for a cause at Morton’s The Steakhouse Miami Beach on Monday, Nov. 8.

Celebrity Servers kicks off with a reception and silent auction at 6 p.m., followed by dinner and live auction at 7 p.m. NFL players are giving us something to cheer about on Monday night, other than football. Proceeds from celebrity servers will benefit the Pros for Africa foundation, providing hope, help, and love to the children of Africa.

Since helping Africa’s children in need is a team effort, Dansby will be joined at Morton’s by his Dolphins teammates and celebrity friends. Throwing off their helmets and uniforms in trade for plates and aprons, Dansby and notable local names will be serving Miamians a lavish four-course meal of Morton’s signature cuisine, such as classic tuna tartare canapés, miniature crab cakes, Colossal Shrimp Alexander, double cut filet mignon, and irresistible desserts including New York cheesecake, double chocolate mousse and fresh seasonal berries with Sabayon sauce. Paired with professional athletes, fine wine, and an exciting auction, Celebrity Servers is game to be a winning night.

Tickets are available for $250 per guest, including tax, gratuity, and valet parking. Contact Michelle Guerrin at 786.454.4022, or Michelle_Guerrin@mortons.com to purchase tickets.

Morton’s The Steakhouse Miami Beach is located at 4041 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, Fla., www.mortons.com/miamibeach, 786.454.4022.
