Monumental Ball 2010

This Friday night October 29, beginning at 7 p.m. is the annual Monumental Ball gala that expertly brings together some of Atlanta’s most charitable, fashionable and fun residents for a great cause. Held at Magnolia Hall in Piedmont Park, this event is also hosted by two of Atlanta’s well-known culinary representatives Melissa & Kevin Rathbun. Landing right in the middle of Halloween festivities, guests are encouraged to come dressed in costumes and/or formal black tie attire. A portion of the proceeds go directly to the restoration and repair of the culturally significant and historic Ivey and Crook monuments. Spend your Friday evening dancing, partying, dining and supporting the beauty of some of Atlanta’s most scared treasures.

Featuring a catered appetizer buffet and a fully stocked cash bar, attendees can also expect music by local favorite KINGSIZED to ensure the party continues to rock all night long (or at least until the 11 p.m. end time). The Monumental Ball is also a celebration and fundraiser for the legendary Morningside Lenox Park Association and community and all their contributions to the city of Atlanta. All of the delicious food serviced will be provided by the very respected and popular catering firm Affairs to Remember. Expect to totally stuffed and ready to head to the dance floor to burn off those delicious calories.

Tickets are $45 in advance and $55 at the door. There is plenty of parking on-site in the brand new parking deck at Piedmont Park.  This is a great way to kick off the Halloween weekend and have lots of fun supporting the city and the things that make it so beautiful.

Monumental Ball 2010 is located at Magnolia Hall in Piedmont Park 1071 Piedmont Ave. 404.876.4024
