Kim Kardashian Pimps Engagement Rings in Chicago

Everyone’s favorite curvaceous cutie was in town yesterday pimping engagement rings as the spokeswoman for Search for the World’s Best Couple, a social media contest in which couples around the world are competing in challenges such as best photos, stories, pet names, and all around mushiness to win a 22.25 carat stunner from Michael Hill Jewelers. The bling is a gorgeous princess cut diamond set in platinum with a soft half-round shank that sweeps up and splits at the shoulders to form four claws. The winning couple will be chosen mid-December.
Afterward, she hit up the screening of Runway at the ICON theatre with Chicagoan and star of the film, Kanye West.
A little ironic since she’s the only single Kardashian?
Michael Hill is one of New Zealand’s most successful, innovative and inspiring entrepreneurs. After leaving high school at sixteen and working for the family business, Michael opened his own jewelry store in Whangarei in 1979. The start-up was so successful that over the next seven years, Michael Hill Jeweler opened seven more stores across New Zealand, before expanding to Brisbane in Australia. After that, Michael set himself a highly ambitious goal of “seventy stores in seven years” which he achieved in 1995. Today Michael Hill Jeweler has more than 250 outlets across New Zealand, Australia, Canada and the United States. Michael is a passionate philanthropist and a well-respected philosopher on business and life, with two published books about succeeding in business. In 2008, he was awarded the Ernst & Young New Zealand’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award, in recognition of his accomplishments and the contribution he has made to New Zealand’s economy and society.
