Celebrity-Designed Pillows for Charity

You’re never too old to have a pillow fight; let the next cushion you whack be a Sarah Silverman-designed one. On Saturday, Dec. 4, find Miami’s chicest crowd fighting over pillows in a silent auction hosted at the Baltus Showroom. Celebrities, artists, designers, and socialites have lent their talents to the Spain-based Baltus Collection, an interior and furniture design company, by creating one-of-a-kind throw pillows in styles ranging from quirky to elegant.

Celebrity designers include actors Olivia Wilde, Sarah Silverman, Alec Mapa, Kourtney Kardashian, Nathan Lee Graham, Valerie Pattiford, Miss Universe Amelia Vega, artist Gregg Hamby, famed 3-D graffiti artist Erni Valdes, legendary designer Althea Harper and Miami’s high-fashion designers Karelle Levy and Luis Valenzuela, and artist Noel Sanchez.

All proceeds from the auction will benefit Care Resource, South Florida’s oldest and largest HIV/AIDS service organization serving both Miami-Dade and Broward counties.

The silent auction will take place at 7 p.m. at the Baltus Collection showroom on 3925 N. Miami Ave.
