Dior Transforms South Coast Plaza for Jonathan Anderson’s Debut
South Coast Plaza is marking a new chapter for Dior with a dedicated installation celebrating Jonathan Anderson’s debut collections for the house. Taking over Jewel Court, the space has been transformed into a striking visual pop-up that pulls directly from Dior’s archive while introducing a fresh point of view.

The concept centers around a playful reimagining of Colifichets, the small gift boxes sold at Dior’s first boutique. Here, they are scaled up into towering structures that fill the court, all rendered in Dior’s signature gray, a shade long associated with 30 Montaigne. The result feels immersive and graphic, with the installation balancing heritage references and a more forward-looking energy tied to Anderson’s vision.
Inside the space, Dior’s women’s and men’s collections are presented side by side, reinforcing the idea of a unified creative direction. The setting reflects that same duality, where archival cues are reworked into something more contemporary.

The activation also introduces a more personal layer for clients. A series of customizable objects inspired by the new collections, including perfumed ceramics, miniature notebooks, and bookmarks, are available by appointment at the women’s boutique near Jewel Court. Reservations can be made through Dior, adding a bespoke element to the experience.
