Time to get your beauty on. On August 29, U.N.I.T.E (Unity Now is a Tomorrow for Everyone) BEAUTY BASH will launch its first event looking to bring South Florida’s beauty, fashion and arts industry together for a good cause. The bash, which will open with networking followed by a riveting fashion show, is the official charity event of the Miami Beauty Show, being held at the Miami Beach Convention Center August 29 though 30. Beauty and charity? Sign me up!
The first ever U.N.I.T.E BEAUTY BASH will offer a chance for industry members and the community at large to come together and enjoy a fabulous fashion show presenting Cesar Rosarios’ latest fashion week collection and Azucar, followed by a unique opportunity to network and party in style with celebrities and icons such as season’s 3 Shear Genius Winner Brig Van Osten, Kaz Amor from Hired on MTV, Los Angeles colorist to the stars Warren Tricomi, and Jocelyn Zayco Hollywood celebrity make up artist.
In keeping with the main goal of the event to raise funds for local organizations, attendees will be asked to select the charity they would like their ticket contribution to benefit by simply making the checks or money orders payable to any of the nine selected non-profits. Selected non-profits include the American Red Cross of Greater Miami & The Keys, Cut It Out, Empowering Latin Leadership, Humane Society of Greater Miami, Kids Off Streets, Latin Fashion Worldwide, Olympian Theater at the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts, and The Original 1-800 Charity Cars.
