Dori’s World: Los Angeles Part Deux
On Tuesday night, Barry Gesser, Sarah Collins and I threw a small clambake at their house. It was a good old Hamptons barbecue in the middle of Los Angeles. Haute Living’s publisher Seth Semilof joined us there along with Lizzie Grubman, Jordan Bucky, Sabrina Levine, James Goldstein, Ally Bernstein, Alexanrdra von Furstenburg, Dax Miller and Jane and Jon Mass.
The next day, I got a tour of James Goldstein’s Bel Air Mansion. It was designed John Lautner and was definitely a great house to see. He added an entire entertainment center to the property. That night, Gary Gilbert, Drew McCourt, Zeta Graff, Francesca Versace, Kurt Rappaport, Michael Baruch, and Barry Gesser joined me for dinner at Soho House and then we headed to the roof of Jason Pomeranc’s hotel, the Thompson.
