You never really need an excuse to relax. Whether its a long day at the office or an equally long day on the golf course, you deserve a little R&R. Victory Park has it all: restaurants, shops, the American Airlines center with its performance calendar (Michael Buble and Lady Gaga are performing late July,) plus its close proximity to Uptown, Downtown and all the hot spots in between. The W Dallas lies in the heart of it, a half-hotel, half-condominium complex divided by an outdoor infinity pool cut out of the middle, an extra-cool factor when you are doing laps high above the city. Drop your Benz off at the door with the Valet and pick up your complimentary disposable camera. Check in to your luxurious room, slip into your swimsuit and head upstairs for some sun and two free cocktails at the WET bar. Enjoy the sun setting over cityscape and take a picture, then make your way back to your room for a hot shower and change of clothes. You’re famished from all the fun, so you head downstairs to Tom Colicchio’s restaurant, craft Dallas, for some delicious cuisine, and you enjoy 10 percent off your dinner. You suddenly feel like enjoying a drink and a boogie down, so you make your way to the elevator where security escorts you upstairs to the Ghost Bar, the penthouse nightclub that houses grade-A DJ’s and celebrities. You take another picture.
Feeling like you have done the scene, you head out to the Valet and, conceding that you’ve had a few, opt to go with one of the hotel’s complimentary rides in an Acura MDX, complete with driver, to your next destination. You party till dawn, taking pics the whole time.
