Anatomy Fitness will return its signature #AnatomyHourPushUpChallenge to Miami Beach on Sunday, October 11, 2026, with Miami HEAT legends Udonis Haslem and Bam Adebayo coming together for the first time at the annual fundraiser. The event will support the Udonis Haslem Foundation and Adebayo’s Bam, Books & Brotherhood Foundation, with 100 percent of proceeds raised benefiting the two organizations.

Now in its eighth year, the challenge has become one of Anatomy Fitness’s most recognizable philanthropic initiatives, bringing together athletes, business leaders, fitness enthusiasts, members and supporters from across South Florida. The concept is simple but demanding: participants have one hour to complete as many push ups as possible, with fundraising pledges tied to their final totals. Supporters who prefer not to participate can also contribute through flat donations.

The 2026 event will take place at the Event Space at 1111 Lincoln Road in Miami Beach. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m., with the challenge starting at 10:00 a.m. The event space is located on the seventh floor at 1111 Lincoln Rd, Miami Beach, FL 33139.

The partnership between Haslem and Adebayo adds a particularly meaningful dimension to this year’s fundraiser. While both have established themselves as leaders on the court and within the Miami community, this marks the first time Adebayo will join Haslem and Anatomy for the annual push up challenge.

For Haslem, the event has been part of his philanthropic relationship with Anatomy since 2021. That year, he joined the initiative as a charitable partner and established Team UD to encourage additional participants and drive more donations.

Since its inception, the #AnatomyHourPushUpChallenge has raised more than $715,000 for charitable organizations. Previous participants have included Haslem, Duncan Robinson, Miami HEAT Head Coach Erik Spoelstra and Miami Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, alongside members of Miami’s broader business, sports and philanthropic communities.

This year’s goal is to build on that record.

“We’ve been doing this for years now, and every year the goal is the same: raise the bar. More push ups, more money raised, and more impact in our community. This is Miami, we know how to show up for each other. And now we’ve got Bam joining us, so I’m definitely expecting him to put some numbers on the board,” said Udonis Haslem, three time NBA Champion and Miami HEAT legend.

The Udonis Haslem Foundation focuses on creating greater opportunities for children and families in underserved communities by increasing access to resources, care and opportunity. Its work includes UD Kids, mental health initiatives and community accessibility programs designed to address socioeconomic barriers.

Adebayo brings his own philanthropic platform to the event through Bam, Books & Brotherhood Foundation, which he founded in 2017. Inspired by his own upbringing, the organization works to support single mothers while creating stronger educational, social and economic pathways for children.

Its initiatives include education, literacy, scholarships, food security, sports and family support programs across South Florida and North Carolina.

Adebayo’s involvement follows a significant year of philanthropic recognition. During the 2025 to 2026 NBA season, he was named the NBA Social Justice Champion and received the Kareem Abdul Jabbar Trophy for his work focused on educational equity, food security and youth development. During that season, he led 18 social impact initiatives and invested more than half a million dollars in programs intended to expand access and opportunity for young people and families.

For Adebayo, joining Haslem’s longtime fundraising effort was a natural extension of his own commitment to giving back.

“I’ve watched UD give back to Miami for as long as I’ve known him, and that’s something I’ve always respected. BBB is personal to me because so much of our work comes from how I grew up and knowing what it can mean when someone shows up for you or gives you an opportunity. So when the chance came to be a part of an event that’s already making a real impact in the community, it was an easy yes. Now I just have to make sure I don’t embarrass UD in the push up count,” said Bam Adebayo, Miami HEAT Captain.

The event also represents an important moment for Anatomy Fitness, which has seen the challenge evolve from a fitness test into a broader community tradition.

“What started as a fitness challenge has grown into one of the most meaningful traditions in the Anatomy community. Every year, we watch people push themselves for something much bigger than a workout, and that is what makes this event so special. Udonis has been instrumental in helping us grow its impact, and welcoming Bam and the BBB Foundation this year marks an exciting new chapter. We’re ready to make this our biggest year yet,” said Team Anatomy.

The format keeps the focus on participation rather than simply performance. Every push up can translate into additional fundraising, allowing participants to challenge themselves while contributing to causes supporting children, families and underserved communities.

The Miami setting also gives the event a distinctly local character. Anatomy Fitness has built the challenge around the idea that fitness can become a vehicle for community engagement, and the involvement of two Miami HEAT leaders strengthens that connection.

For Haslem, whose relationship with Miami extends well beyond basketball, the challenge reflects the same community first philosophy that has shaped his foundation. For Adebayo, the event creates an opportunity to bring Bam, Books & Brotherhood into an established Miami tradition while introducing the foundation’s work to a new audience.
