Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.. or Brunettes.

There’s nothing better than philanthropy. Especially when the cause is hot blondes or even hotter brunettes (sorry, I’m biased). And who doesn’t like supporting Chi-town’s finest vixens?

That’s just what the Blondes v. Brunettes (BvB) are advocating as they try to end the age old debate once and for all through a friendly little competition. BvB is a powder puff football game played by 50 of the areas most talented, bright, and beautiful women fundraising for a common cause: The Alzheimer’s Association. Founded by Ryan Triplette and Sara Allen Abbott in Washington, DC in 2005, the big game is steamrolling across the nation and becoming an annual tradition in many major cities. Last year in Chicago’s inaugural year, the Blondes swept the crown; and collectively raised over $50,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association. This year, the brunettes are out for blood. But the real competition is the fund raising war. Back your favorite player and get your tickets to the Big Game at www.bvbchicago.org/.

There are as many as 5.2 million Americans living with Alzheimer’s and in 2050, that number is projected to reach a staggering 16 million. Every little bit helps in finding prevention methods, treatments and an eventual cure for the disease.
