Jimmy Choo Pearls of Wisdom: Sandra Choi Marks 30 Years With a Pearl Capsule
Jimmy Choo Pearls of Wisdom marks the house's 30th anniversary with pearl wedges, INES pumps, RAINDROPS minaudières, and an OYSTER clutch.
Jimmy Choo is turning 30, and it is celebrating with pearls. Jimmy Choo Pearls of Wisdom, a capsule collection and campaign led by Creative Director Sandra Choi, began rolling out on October 6, 2026, with shoes, bags and jewelry that honor the pearl in all its forms.
“‘Pearls of Wisdom’ felt like the perfect starting point as we mark three decades of Jimmy Choo. The 30-year milestone aligns intuitively with this motif we’ve long loved. For me, the pearl carries a quiet, enduring power, graceful, never overt, and always with a touch of playful purity,” Choi said.
For three decades, the pearl has been woven into the house, from the alabaster travertine walls of early boutiques to its iridescent oyster packaging. It has appeared across shoes and accessories in every guise, from delicate to defiant. The pearl is not a mere motif at Jimmy Choo; it is a house code.

Precious yet resilient, formed slowly and refined over time, the pearl is also the traditional emblem of a 30th anniversary. Choi wanted it to feel “natural and instinctive, a subtle expression of our past that continues to shape our future,” which neatly sums up the house’s approach to the milestone.
Each shoe takes the pearl somewhere new. The ITHACA’s sculpted gold wedge, named for a Greek island whose landscape is embedded with mother of pearl, hides three resin pearls. The IRINA sandal drapes resin pearls and crystals across the foot like clustered necklaces, while the INGRID FLAT adds a trompe l’oeil pearl buckle.

Baroque corsages bloom across the three silhouettes of the INES family, offered as a pump, mule and flat. The BON BON bag picks up those same baroque pearl corsages, while the TUBE MINI BAG and the RAINDROPS minaudière are both finished with a fringe of cascading resin pearls, built for movement and light.
The evening pieces push furthest. The CLOUD clutch conjures oyster shells and golden waves, and the OYSTER is a sculptural plexi clutch, an objet d’art inspired by the natural form of a baroque pearl. Jimmy Choo describes each piece in the capsule as a future heirloom, designed with thirty more years in mind.

The campaign, photographed by Mark Kean with model Rayssa Medeiros and still life by Jean Marques, moves between color and black and white. Across its films, a graphic of ’96, the year Jimmy Choo was founded, is recast as a pair of apostrophes, one upright and one inverted, framing three decades of stories.

Founded in 1996 as an East London atelier, Jimmy Choo now designs in London and produces largely in Florence, with more than 200 boutiques worldwide. Pearls of Wisdom is a smart anniversary move: nostalgic without being literal, and the IRINA sandal is the piece most likely to become a modern classic.
