Celebrate Fashion and Ballet With The San Francisco Ballet Company, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Michael Kors
What happens when the glamorous and beautiful worlds of fashion and ballet collide? You get the super-successful San Francisco Ballet Auxiliary Fashion Show, which this year is featuring Michael Kors’ stunning Fall/Winter 2010 collection, fresh off the New York runway. Although we covered this exciting event on HauteLiving.com back in January—when it was just announced that the Project Runway judge and visionary American icon would be the featured designer—the date is fast approaching, and we wanted to remind you to reserve your place now for this cant-miss occasion.
Fashionistas, ballerinas, and arts impresarios alike will gather on April 28 at the Westin St. Francis on Union Square, and will be treated to cocktails and a live auction preceding the much-anticipated fashion extravaganza. The event, which has been a midday fete in years past, will take place this year during cocktail hour. (It doesn’t get much better than a few cosmos and some jet-set Kors fashion.) The evening will include a private dinner with the designer in Alexandra’s at the Westin for Grand Benefactor/Benefactor ticketholders only, immediately following the show.
The San Francisco Ballet Company and Saks Fifth Avenue come together annually for this event, which brings luxury and high-fashion to the Bay Area in support of the SF Ballet. So we’ll see you at their next ballet performance, wearing that new Michael Kors party frock you saw at the show and just had to have.
Tickets for this uber-fashionable night of philanthropy start at only $175. Make sure to reserve soon, as there is limited seating left!
