On Sunday, February 28, 2010, Havaianas came together with celebrity chef Guy Fieri to host the Havaianas Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival Mercado. The fashion inspired Wine & Food Festival took place at the Beach Club at the Gansevoort South along Collins Avenue.
Keeping true to the flip-flop beach theme, guests slipped into the culinary world by slipping out of their shoes and into Havaianas. With an original mixture of food, fashion, and South Beach entertainment, visitors selected flip-flops from a sandal menu inspired by Havaianas.
Havaianas are known to be the most stylish and comfortable rubber flip-flops in the world. They maintain a secret “rubber recipe” in order to produce their ultra-high quality and softness. Known nation-wide for their comfort, these flip-flops have been showcased on fashion show runways around the world.
The Miami event housed a variety of renowned guests including Food Network stars, celebrity chefs, and VIPs including Anne Burrell, Robert Irvine, Marc Summers, and Fabio Viviani.
