Behind the Scenes at Dior Spring 2027 With Yesly Dimate in Paris
Creator and actress Yesly Dimate gave Haute Living a behind-the-scenes look at Jonathan Anderson’s Dior Spring/Summer 2027 women’s show.
For Yesly Dimate, Dior day started in a Paris hotel window. On September 29, 2026, the creator and actress dressed for Jonathan Anderson’s Dior Spring/Summer 2027 women’s show at Le Bassin Octogonal in the Jardin des Tuileries, and she gave Haute Living a look at the whole day, from makeup chair to runway. Dimate built her audience on TikTok, where more than five million people now follow her, after one of her videos took off in 2022 while she was working at Dunkin’. She has since worked with Calvin Klein, starred as Olivia in Shazeb Fahim’s indie feature Before We Begin and become a familiar face at Dior.
This was not her first Dior show. She attended the house’s runway at a Scottish castle in the summer of 2024 and its Fall/Winter 2025 show in Paris, but this season belonged to Anderson, the house’s creative director. Getting ready began, fittingly, with a Dior compact in hand.

Her look was soft and romantic: a tiered white tulle camisole edged in lace, worn over straight-leg grey jeans, with pink satin heels finished in bows. It suited a season that, as our review noted, leaned on lace, organza and soft tailoring, and it glowed against the zinc Paris rooftops.

The full fit worked as well on the balcony as it did in the window. With the city spread out behind her, the tulle read lighter than air while the denim kept everything grounded. It is the mix of romance and ease that makes runway fashion feel personal rather than precious.

Up close, the details did the talking. The Adiorable Top Handle Mini bag sat at her hip, its charms catching the light against the lace bodice, and a cream jacket was ready for the walk ahead. Then came the dash, because Paris Fashion Week traffic waits for no one and the clock was running.

She moved quickly through a sunlit arcade before pulling up at the Tuileries, under a clear blue sky. Inside, Anderson sent 65 looks down a white runway laid across the basin, in a collection built around the wénwán walnut, an unexpected muse for a house so often led by flowers.

The walnut reference comes from a Chinese tradition of hand-rolling the nuts, whose patina reveals itself over time. Dimate kept her phone ready for the looks that stopped her, from a pink floral dress to sweeping ivory ruffles and a layered pink piece worn with Dior’s Saddle bag. Her favorites skewed light, feminine, and textured.

The venue earned its own moment. Bureau Betak produced the set, and the house will replant its trees in the Jardin des Tuileries, where they will keep growing for years to come. One look she hopes to wear herself was a black jacket over a white skirt, Anderson’s sharp tailoring at its most wearable.

Dimate also took her own turn on the white runway over the water. Seen through one person’s camera, from a hotel window to the runway, a Dior show feels less like a spectacle and more like a day in Paris, and that intimacy is the best argument for inviting creators like her.
