Red Cross Gala in San Francisco

The American Red Cross Bay Area Chapter is hosting a fundraising gala on March 6, 2010 in order to raise money for their important cause, the local Red Cross disaster readiness and relief efforts.  The event will not only provide guests will the opportunity to display their charitable hearts but also an elegant night of mingling among many premier names in the San Francisco area.  I am sure many of our readers will be attending this haute event and partaking in the silent auction that will feature lavish and luxurious packages for guests to make their bids on.  Some of the packages include a five-day Kenyan Safari, a private dinner prepared by “Top Chef” Ryan Scott, a Miro lithograph, and an Australian adventure.

The evening will commence at 6 p.m. and guests will enjoy cocktails and wine provided by both Grey Goose Vodka and Gallo Family Vineyards.  Following drinks, guest will enjoy a luxurious meal, and dinner will conclude with the silent auction previously mentioned.  Festivities will continue after the completion of the auction, providing guests with the opportunity to dance to the music of Livewire while enjoying more of the products showcased by Grey Goose and Gallo Family Vineyards.

Co-chairs Roberta Economidis and Kelly Murphy, both long time supporters of the San Francisco chapter, head the event’s committee.  With expectations for the event already so high, tickets are sold out and party organizers had to place those wanting to attend on a waiting list.  With immense expectations, the Red Town Gala is surely to present an amazing and astounding fundraiser that is worthy of applause.
