Popping Veuve Clicquot Bubbly at the Viceroy Snowmass

Veuve Clicquot knows how to start a celebration off right. The bubbly-maker hosted their third annual “Clicquot in the Snow” celebration at Viceroy Snowmass just minutes from Aspen. The celebration, which took place this past weekend, had Giuliana and Bill Rancic spending a beautiful Saturday afternoon hosting the spectacular event on the Viceroy pool deck, sipping on that famous Champagne.

There was an astounding attendance of approximately 500 skiers and snow bunnies alike, two of which were tastemaker and Viceroy designer Kelly Wearstler and husband Brad Korzen. The après-ski party included tasty bites of king crab legs and house made Viceroy protein bars, whilst guests sipped on bottles of the luxury liquid’s Yellow Label and Rosé, the latter of the two revealed as being Giuliana’s personal favorite.

Veuve Clicquot has been around since 1772, when Philippe Clicquot-Muiron created the original enterprise that was eventually inherited by his son’s wife, Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin. Through determined efforts, it became an established premium and royal brand easily recognized by its bright yellow label, which today is part of the Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy group.

Viceroy Snowmass, on the other hand, is practically a newbie. Located at the base of one of the world’s finest ski mountains, Viceroy Snowmass stands apart from its Miami, California, and Caribbean sisters as an ideal setting for a mountain vacation at any time during the year.  At this ski resort, who can ever tire of winter?
