What Made Them Haute: He is a former Silicon Valley tech titan who now owns Ungaro, which has been honored as one of the 10 official haute couture houses in the past, and she is an M.D., nephrologist, and philanthropist. Together, they are one of the Bay Area’s most prominent and stylish couples.
What Makes Them Haute Now: This San Francisco based power couple recently showcased Ungaro’s newest clothing line during Paris Fashion Week. Lindsay Lohan, once Ungaro’s artistic adviser, didn’t show up in Paris and is no longer affiliated with the company. Now it is hard to say whether or not her absence was intentional on her part, or if she was asked not to come. Asim Abdullah had no comment about the “Lohan” situation, however he was recently quoted in Women’s Wear Daily saying that Lohan was in no way “involved in this collection.”
