Make A “Big Bounce” at Colony Theatre

Every once and while, an event comes along that thrusts an artist into the spotlight forcing us haute people to open our eyes and take notice.  March 19 marks one of those days. If you’re in Miami, and you love music, you won’t want to miss it.

Miami’s hottest band, The Big Bounce, infuses a unique blend of rock, jazz, blues, and hip-hop to create a resonating sound.  The band is marking the release of their first studio album on March 19 with a concert at the historic Colony Theatre on Lincoln Road.

The Big Bounce has been a preeminent trendsetter in the New York and Miami nightlife scenes for years. They have played more than 500 shows in cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco, Paris, Philadelphia, London, Miami and New York.

The band includes an upright bassist, trumpeters, saxophonists, pianists, and tap dancers all offering sophisticated tunes that sound like something heard on the streets of Harlem in the 20s.

An uber chic after party at The Florida Room follows the concert with the who’s who of the Miami music and nightlife seen expected to be in attendance.
