Honorary Dinner for Master Chef Daniel Boulud

Daniel Boulud is a culinary legend, and this master of American-influenced French cuisine will be honored on Sunday at the South Beach Wine and Food Festival during a sold out tribute dinner.

The tribute dinner will be prepared by a number of Boulud’s friends including Nobu Matsuhisa, Eric Ripert, and Claude Troisgros. The dinner is priced at $325 a plate and was an instant sellout.

For all our haute readers who weren’t able to score a ticket to the event, don’t worry. Boulud expects his first Miami Restaurant, a bistro located at the new Met 2 tower downtown, to open its doors sometime in October 2010. So even though you may not be able to honor this exceptional chef at the Wine and Food Festival, you will soon have the chance to honor him by dining at his new Miami restaurant.
